Dr. Kevin Kelley is a graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 after his undergraduate studies at University of Florida.  He started in zoo, wildlife and exotic animal medicine but became passionate about Emergency Medicine and Critical care over 20 years ago.  Since then his career has included emergency medicine and surgery throughout the Tampa Bay area including leadership roles in several ER and specialty hospitals, as well as a successful relief business for General Practices and Urgent Care.  He is passionate about mentoring and teaching as well as continued collaboration and supporting others in the veterinary field.  This included serving as President elect for the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association and student/teacher in advanced ER training wetlabs and courses.

He is excited about joining the amazing team at the Animal ER at University Park, and bringing his knowledge and passion for client and patient care to the team.  When not at work he has three amazing kids that keep him busy with scuba diving, powerlifting and escape rooms. Also, the proud dad to the world's best German Shepherd, a spoiled Boston Terrier and Siamese cat, as well as a smug bearded dragon.  On top of all of that chaos, he and his wife travel as often as possible, and love new adventures and concerts.
