Dr. Holly Weber are up in Toledo, Ohio. Once she finished with high school, she moved to sunny, snow-free Florida. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida Institute of Technology. After graduating and working outside of the veterinary field for a few years, Dr. Weber decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in2010. Dr. Weber moved back to Florida to work in the Sarasota and Bradenton veterinary communities. Over the past 13 years, Dr. Weber has worked in general practice seeing canine, feline and exotic companion animals. She also obtained certification in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute in 2012. Very recently, Dr. Weber decided to change career paths and completed the Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) Fellowship program to learn the ways of veterinary emergency medicine. She started working with Animal ER of University Park full time in March 2024. Dr. Weber has been an active member of the Southwest Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SWFVMA) since 2011. She has served as a member of the SWFVMA board since 2018. Her goal as a board member is to provide opportunities for connection and education for the veterinarians of Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their 4 pets (2dogs and 2 cats), rowing, and traveling with friends and family.
