COVID-19 SAFETY STANDARDS

For the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, clients, and patients, we are continuing to temporarily ask clients to stay in their cars with their pets when arriving at our hospital.

Please call us and let us know why you are arriving and which service your pet may need. The check-in process and all other interactions with our doctors and staff will be conducted over the phone.

Call us at: (941) 355-2884

A member of our team will meet you in our well-lit parking lot to escort your pet(s) into the building. We still have our specialty services running, however, most of our consultations are being completed over the phone.

What should I do if I think my animal has the coronavirus?

Call your veterinary clinic with any questions about your animal’s health. In order to ensure the veterinary clinic is prepared for the household animal, the owner should call ahead and arrange the hospital or clinic visit. Make sure to tell your veterinarian if your animal was exposed a person sick with COVID-19, and if your animal is showing any signs of illness. Veterinarians who believe an animal should be tested will contact state animal health officials, who will work with public and animal health authorities to decide whether samples should be collected and tested.
