Emergency DVM

Animal ER of University Park is seeking an Emergency DVM to add to our growing team! Surgery experience/interest preferred; we have 10:00 am-10:00 pm swings available! New graduates are encouraged to apply!

The Animal ER of University Park, L.L.C. is staffed byveterinarians and licensed or highly experienced veterinary technicians, alongwith veterinary assistants who are physically present during all operatinghours.

The Animal ER is a well-equipped facility with diagnostic,surgical and life-saving equipment. The state of the art hospital includes amodern surgical suite, IDEXX Lab machines (CBC/Chem/Lytes/Coag/BloodGas/Sedi-Vue Dx, ACTH Stim Testing in-house along with Bile Acids), DigitalRadiography, Ultrasound, Electrosurgery, and Endoscopy. In addition, we canmonitor the SPO2, EKG, and have 2 different Blood Pressure monitoringmodalities (Doppler and PetMap). In addition, we have access to BoardedNeurologist, Surgeons, and Internal Medicine.

The Animal ER of University Park was created because the peopleof north Sarasota county and the entirety of Manatee county where having totravel too far for veterinary emergency care.

The founders of the Animal ER recognized this need, and inNovember of 2003 opened the Animal ER to serve the people and pets of Manateeand Sarasota counties. Since that time, we have been open every night, weekend,and holiday.
